Horses & Ponies for Foster

Horses & Ponies for Foster

Are you in the Dublin/Kildare/Meath/Leinster area in Ireland?

Rescuing a horse is only PART of the rescue story. Our objective at MLHR is to rehome as many of the horses in our care as possible, and here's where YOU can help us.  Placing a horse in a foster home can really improve a horse's chance at finding a permanent home sooner.

Rescued horses in foster care learn to be part of the herd, receive handling, become comfortable with being led, groomed and being in a stable or a horse box as well as getting used to the vet, farrier/dentist.

For our older rescues, any form of training that can help with them finding their adoptive home is hugely beneficial.  If you have secure land, even if it's just for some lovely Summer grazing or can offer a long term space or any training - get in touch today.
