Elsa came to us already 4 months in foal. A poor little mare with bad teeth, no trust, and no inclination to give us the benefit of the doubt.
Over time we won this pretty grey over, ensuring safe handling should anything go wrong when it was time for her to deliver her foal. Luckily for us she did all the hard work herself early one frosty January morning.
Her newborn, Emily, had a little trouble feeding herself but after a day of help she was able to feed on her own.
Elsa will make someone very happy as a companion or small child's first pony. She loves her scratches, is good to lead and will be available when Emily is weaned (roughly 6 months) and is very good with young children.
