Arthur and Maeve (Not suitable for Riding)
Arthur Guinness was rescued in 2020. Underweight, raced, covered in sores and other injuries 😢
Thankfully, with the care of volunteers and the support of our vets this wonderful gent made a full recovery 💕
During his time with us he became best friends with our beautiful Queen Maeve.
Rescued from the pound Queen Maeve came to us emaciated and with a foal at foot.
These two beauties are never seen without each other and really do share a special bond.
Our dream for them is that they find a home together. ❤️
Maeve DOB 2008 and is 15hh.
Arthur DOB is 2009 and he is 15.1hh
Both are now great to catch, lead and load but building this trust took time with both horses. Arthur is good for the farrier, Maeve can be a little nervous of her hind hooves being trimmed and requires some scratches and treats to make it a less stressful experience for her. We would love an experienced home where this couple can live a quiet life and have all the care they need, quite unlike what they both would have experienced before coming into our care.
