Romie

Romie (Not ready to begin training until 2023)

Our gorgeous little Romie has been in our care for 2 years now, he came into our care as a very scared yearling who was found running through the streets with his terrified little pal Frazer. Frazer has since found his forever home and Romie is living as part of a small herd in a wonderful foster home. However we would love him to have a long term home to call his own and he has so much love to give. Romie is an absolute sweetheart, he has always been a very empathetic boy, in that he always comes over to see that everything is ok if the vet or the farrier is there to visit one of his friends (as you will see in the photo of him giving his friend paddy pants some support while being checked by the vet).

Romie has gotten over over his fear and is very friendly now, he will come straight up to you in the field and loves scratches, cuddles and carrots, he is great to catch, lead, load and for the farrier, sometimes he needs a little bit of reassurance when the farrier is there but a little scratch and a kind word and he's happy to continue. Romie is a wonderful youngster, he is currently standing at approximately 12.2hh but he may still grow as his DOB is 2018. Romie gets on great with the other horses in the herd and is such a wonderful little character.

If you feel you may be able to offer Romie the home he truly deserves then do follow the link below to fill out the form. Homecheck and adoption fee will apply.
